Staffan Encrantz (67)
Staffan has actively led investments in and operation of a variety of companies for over 40 years. He has led the growth and development of both early stage companies and established businesses in a wide variety of fields. Staffan is currently Chairman of AnaMar AB, ClosingCorp Inc, Evolve Guest Controls, LLC, Harbour Litigation Funding Ltd., Koncentra Holding AB, the Koncentra Verkstads AB group, Nclear Inc. and Sight Sciences Inc. He is also a director of GovX, Inc., Oxymetal SAS and several other companies. Staffan previously worked at ASEA AB, Sweden (now ABB Ltd.) as its deputy General Counsel 1979-1981, Finance Manager 1981-1984, and during 1984-1990 in Switzerland and the UK as Business Area manager responsible for ABB’s Commodity Trading and Counter Trading group. Prior to this he worked at Skandia Insurance Co, Sweden as its General Counsel and in private law practice. Staffan holds a law degree (Magna Cum Laude) from Uppsala University, Sweden.
Marie Carlsson (44)
Marie joined Allegro in 2004 and has 20 years of international experience in finance and accounting, including seven years at Silicon Storage Technology Inc., California, USA and five years as General Manager and Controller of the Koncentra Holding AB group in Stockholm, Sweden. During her time in Sweden, Marie built up the Swedish organization of what today is the Allegro Group and served on the boards of several of its group companies, before moving back to the US to take on the position as Vice President and CFO of the Fund. Today, Marie serves on the boards of Alestra Group Holdings Ltd., Alestra Ltd., AnaMar AB, Evolve Guest Controls, LLC, the Koncentra Verkstads AB group and Nclear Inc. Marie has a BS in International Business from Menlo College, USA and an MBA from Santa Clara University, USA.
Dan Broström (59)
Dan has managed international operations in manufacturing companies for over 20 years and has served as both CEO and Senior Manager in B2B and B2C companies. Dan has previously worked at Cycleurope AB, Victor Hasselblad AB, Daros Piston Rings AB, Federal Mogul AB and Indutrade AB, all located in Sweden. Dan is currently the CEO of Koncentra Verkstads AB, the Allegro Group’s Swedish holding company for its manufacturing investments. He is also the Chairman of Aiab energy AB, Malmstens Verkstad AB, Koncentra Pistons Oy and JTK Power Oy, and serves on the Board of Directors of Koncentra Verkstads AB, Oxymetal SAS, as well as Elcowire Group AB. Dan holds an M.Sc. degree in Engineering from Chalmers University in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Dennis Leuer (72)
Dennis is a partner with the San Francisco law firm of Bancroft and McAlister, LLP, where he has practiced since 1979. Dennis has worked closely with Mr. Encrantz for almost 30 years (including during Staffan’s time as a manager at ABB) and has broad experience in advising US and non-US businesses in a variety of areas including mergers and acquisitions, financing, operations and dispositions. Dennis received his B.A. and J.D. from the University of California, USA and has a D. Phil. in intellectual history from Oxford, England.
